January 2009 the bright yellow Maggi truck and Maggi mobile kitchen is
travelling throughout the streets of Paramaribo and beyond. Maggi is a
well-known brand in Surinam. Everyone knows the yellow Maggi cube, but Maggi
has a lot more products that make cooking more easily for you. The Maggi Mobile
will travel across the country to give your new cooking ideas to cook in an
easy, healthy and less expensive way.
If Maggi
Mobile visits your neighbourhood you will first see a promo team who hand out
flyers to promote the cooking session. Later that afternoon everyone can come
and visit the Maggi cook demonstration. Besides tasting the dishes, people
receive a recipe book and can win various prices.
This
initiative of Nestlé Caribbean has already proven to be successful in the
Dominican Republic. Because Suriname is one of the best markets for Maggi
products in this region, now HEM Suriname is also implementing the cooking
sessions in Suriname.
