In collaboration with Caribbean Spay Neuter, Animal Rescue Suriname Foundation organized a successful sterilization campaign for dogs and cats last month. Thanks to a team of volunteers and veterinarians from America, Surinamese were able to have their animals sterilized for a small fee. Society has gratefully made use of this project and a total of 284 operations were performed. In order to support this campaign, HEM Suriname has donated the groceries for the STER project team. We are happy to see that people are aware of the benefits of sterilization and have taken advantage of this opportunity.
